Product Description: Winnie knows that change isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, especially when it means her best friend, Amanda, might be dropping her for someone else. Throw in a grumpy teenage sister, a cat who gets trapped in the wall, and a crush who has pinkeye, and you’ve got one big mess—one that Winnie’s not going to clean up! Winnie’s decided that she’s going to remain exactly the same, no matter what the rest of the world does. But every month brings crazy adventures. A lot can change in a year . . .maybe even Winnie.

I was in third grade when i first read this book ( that was the first time my mom gave in). I started it after dinner that very night, after completing my homework, and i read the whole thing. I was up untill 12:30 ( i don't recomend this on a school night). I loved how it showed a real 11 year olds life. I am ten now and it is basically how girls around this age are. I would recomend this book for ages 8+

I myself haven't read this book, but my 12-year-old niece loved it. I bought her "Twelve" for her 12th birthday. She immediately read it and wanted "Thirteen." After that she decided to go back to the beginning and wanted to read "Eleven." I applaud any author who can get a tween to read and Lauren Myracle seems to have found the right formula in this series. My niece and I both are looking forward to "Fourteen."

Birthdays which are memorable, for reasons both great and bad, happy and sad, stick with us. Eleven by Lauren Myracle details a year in the life of a girl named Winnie. Every chapter highlights a month in that year, starting on her eleventh birthday and ending on her twelfth birthday.
Winnie often feels stuck in the middle. She's not a teenager yet, much less a grownup, but she's no longer a little kid either. With an older sister and a younger brother, she's the middle kid in her family. ... Read More

I thought it was good and exciting book. It had a lot of intresting friend problems. It was a cliff hanger and I don't like that. I want to know what happened in the end.
