Product Description: "Out of all the people in the world, why do I have to be the freak who went to school on the very first day of the year with a pair of PANTIES stuck by static cling to the leg of my pants?!!!" Seventh grade was supposed to be Alli’s breakout year—only her big debut ends up being a big disaster. Then queen bee Rachel Delaney takes Alli under her wing, and Alli finds herself in the inner circle of seventh-grade cool. But the inner circle is nothing like Alli expected, and there’s ugliness lurking behind the prettiest faces. Can Alli figure out where she fits in, or will she get caught up in the glamour of running with the in crowd?

This book is about a 7th grader named Alli that goes to school on the first day with a pair of her mom's underwear stuck to her pants by a static cling. She experiences a lot of humiliation, and gets made fun of by other people in her class. The book is like a diary with what goes on in her life, and describes her personal feelings. I liked this book because it was fun to read, and you could clearly see the main character's feelings, and you could visualize what was going on. Some things that I didn't ... Read More

The beginning is VERY funny, but then it starts swearing and talking about kissing, and worse. I stopped reading at chapter 3. I do NOT recommend this for middle-schoolers maybe for adults, but by then you will be to old for,"The Fashion Disaster That Changed My Life."

I am by no means religious or offended, but I know ... Read More

This book is pretty good. Not the best, but has a unique plot line, well-written story, and interesting characters with unique personalities. It's about a girl entering seventh grade with her mom's panties on her pants. The most popular girl (Rachel) in the grade defends her to everyone's surprise, and although the main character, Alli, realizes how unkind Rachel is in the end, Alli forgives all of the mistakes that Rachel makes throughout the book. The unique twist is that Alli's unpopular friend who has ... Read More
