I bought this for my 11 year old son for Christmas. When we first opened it we must have played with it for hours. There are quite a few experiments that they have for you to try in the booklet. Each experiment shows you what you need to do then tells you what they are trying to accomplish.
Definitely a good toy for an inquisitive type child.

This is a well built and well designed set. Our 11 year old found it captivating and able to do as advertised. In a day and age when quality and durability is most generally overlooked, it is nice to find a company that emphasizes both and delivers it well.

My nephew is a curious and inventive 9 year old kid who has spent a lot of his time (according to his mother) building the gimmicks in the set.
I will surely buy him a bigger more challenging one as he grows older.
Very entertaining !

My 5 year old got this for Christmas from his grandparents. He loves to sit and build all sorts of stuff so grandparents thought he might like to build something that has an end result... they were right. Because of his age, he did need a bit of help getting started, but has done a few of the projects on his own already. Great gift for children who can sit, follow written directions and work well with their hands...
