Product Description: In spring 1980 the port at mariel harbor was opened & thousands set sail for the usa. They came in search of the american dream. One of them found it on the sun washed avenues of miami wealth power & passion beyond his wildest dreams. He was tony montana but the world will remember him by another name..Scarface!!! Studio: Uni Dist Corp. (mca) Release Date: 07/24/2007 Starring: Al Pacino Steven Bauer Run time: 170 minutes Rating: R Director: Brian Depalma
Amazon.com essential video: This sprawling epic of bloodshed and excess, Brian De Palma's update of the classic 1932 crime drama by Howard Hawks, sparked controversy over its outrageous violence when released in 1983. Scarface is a wretched, fascinating car wreck of a movie, starring Al Pacino as a Cuban refugee who rises to the top of Miami's cocaine-driven underworld, only to fall hard into his own deadly trap of addiction and inevitable assassination. Scripted by Oliver Stone and running nearly three hours, it's the kind of film that can simultaneously disgust and amaze you (critic Pauline Kael wrote "this may be the only action picture that turns into an allegory of impotence"), with vivid supporting roles for Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Robert Loggia. --Jeff Shannon

Trying to find fault here is like looking for dust under your Rolls Royce. THIS MOVIE LASTS FOREVER. It's that damn good. You don't have to love it or like it but you DO HAVE TO SEE IT.

If you could give this less than one stars, I would. I ordered the item, waited, sent an email, got some lame excuse as to why it hadn't come, wrote again, got some weird email saying it the vendor was unavailable. But throughout all this I never received the item. I finally had to cancel the credit card purchase. Whatever you do don't purchase anything from this vendor unless you like to throw money out the window. You would be better off burning your money at least you would get the benefit of ... Read More

Product is excellent, certainly a great addition to any collection. Only damages were a few cracks on the coners of the box, I guess this is normal for a product of this age.

I wanted to see this film just to see what the big deal was about this film being called "The Greatest movie ever made." Baloney (and that's putting it very mildly). This film is simply a waste of time & talent. 2 hours, 49 minutes of f-bombs spewed everywhere. I don't mind watching a movie with profanity & violence, but there's got to be a good storyline to go with it (the "Lethal Weapon" movies, for example) This movie was utterly a waste of my time. I ain't seeing it again. The Greatest ... Read More

I think the movie is only truly enjoyable as a demented version of I Love Lucy... but that's me.
