I've owned these headphones for one year. I'm a believer in giving a product a thorough trial before rating it. Simply stated, these are the best noise cancelling headphones for travellers that you can buy at any price.
I fly about 80,000 miles per year. As you road warriors know, airplane noise and screaming nose miners can really grate on you during those 12 hour flights. These headphones greatly reduce these noises giving you a chance to read or sleep. I used the Bose several times ... Read More

Been using a Sony MDR-NC6 headphone for a while, and wasn't satisfied with the sound quality or the fact that it's just foam pressed against the ears rather than a set that surrounds the ear and helps seal out noise. The active noise cancelling on them also seemed to create as much noise as it hid. It did a decent job of hiding background noises, but also made its own little whining sound as well when turned on.

If you listen at a normal volume someone ... Read More

A Shure E2C used to fill that niche until I broke it in an accident. Since then, I have been on the lookout for a brand new pair.
I tried the Bose On-Ear Headphone at a local Best Buy, liked it enough and thought about buying ... Read More

Amazing noise cancelling, great sound quality but it's big problem is sound leakage. If it's not important issue ANC7 the best coice for you.
