I bought this to have wifi internet access at free hotspots, without any monthly subscriptions. It does all I wanted and way more. In fact, I can't seem to find anything this unit does NOT do. With the addition of freeware software, I can watch full DVD movies, listen to streaming internet radio, watch online videos, process email, surf the web, download stuff, view PDFs, read eBooks, write music, RECORD music, play video games, view pictures, take notes, make actual phone call using SKYPE, annoy ... The ASUS MyPal A626 is one of the best Pocket PCs I have ever seen.
But unfortunately, neither Amazon.com's description nor the manufacturer's note did not explain that it doesn't work with Vista computers very well.
Although there is no problem recognizing the device and interact by putting files around, when it comes to synchronizing with Microsoft Outlook 2007, it does nothing.

was delivered from the vendor in a timely fashion it appears to have inherited some of the traits the xp has does like to crash palm is prob more stable but this unit does interface with the computer where the palm would not play nice with xp 64

This pocket pc is great. It is a pretty small one and looks great. This pocket runs really fast. Mine has pretty bad wifi range, but I don't know how it would be with a brand new one. (bought mine used) I really recomend this pocket pc to everybody.
